Sněžná
The Sněžná room is newly renovated, located on the first floor, with an internal staircase. It consists of a hallway and a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed for up to two people. The room has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. The windows lead to a quiet atrium.
The room is named, like the whole guesthouse, after the extinct village of Sněžná. On the watershed of the Vltava and Blanice rivers, between the peaks of Křemenná and Doupná Mountain, there were two settlements - Horní and Dolní Sněžná. The first references to these villages date back to the mid-seventeenth century. In 1910, the settlement of Horní Sněžná consisted of 30 houses with 146 inhabitants, a school and an inn. In the same year, Dolní Sněžná had 169 inhabitants living in 34 houses. After the removal of the German population, these villages were not repopulated. Interestingly, Eduard Bass placed the birthplace of the main characters of the novel Circus Humberto in the village of Horní Sněžná. In the film, however, Horní Sněžná was imitated by the open-air museum Veselý Kopec.

Very beautiful guesthouse, stylish nicely renovated log house. Nice and cozy rooms, bathroom simple but sufficient. The guesthouse is in a small town, unfortunately by the road, but fortunately there is no noise and most of the rooms have windows facing the courtyard. The service is helpful, the cook is very nice. The only thing we would have appreciated is a choice of at least two meals for dinner... The children had a lovely time in the games room and the self-service bar is ideal. Breakfast was great - buffet, plenty of everything, we only missed fruit.

Beautiful accommodation with many excursions. Everywhere clean and the kitchen is top notch with a star. We were with the grandchildren and had a great time. We would definitely love to return.
Very nice accommodation. Very pleasant staff attitude. Very good breakfast. I recommend. Friendly to dogs.
Very pleasant accommodation with perfect attitude (all important information communicated immediately at check-in). The rooms are clean, the garden is well maintained, the kitchen deserves special praise. The dog had plenty of space and so did we. Thank you again for everything.
Everything's perfectly fine. Rooms clean, cosy and food excellent. I would especially like to praise Mr. Operations, he was very pleasant and explained everything beautifully. We will definitely love to come back here in the future. 😊👍👍
Beautiful stylish accommodation. The rooms are well equipped and beautifully clean. Mr operating was very helpful and friendly, as was the rest of the staff we encountered. The food was very good. We were very happy and will definitely return sometime. Thank you :)
