You will find nearly two kilometres of slopes - from the easiest Školní, where there is also a ski school, through the slightly more difficult Pod Obrovcem slope, where you will also find the Snowpark, to the steepest, called Střecha. Transportation is provided by 2 lifts with a total capacity of 976 people per hour. There is also equipment rental, service and refreshments. The resort is equipped with artificial snow and also lighting for night skiing. There is also a groomed area for sledding and bobsledding at the School Ski Slope. Parking near the lift is free. There is also a mountain service station. For cross-country skiers, 25 km of cross-country ski trails are being groomed in the surroundings of the SKI area at an altitude of 1,100 m above sea level. They can be ridden both classic and free.
Kubova Hut in summer
During the summer, disc golf is played on the resort's premises. To the south of the village lies the Hornovltavické pastviny nature reserve, which is reached by a nature trail of the same name. In the surroundings there are also a number of hillforts, i.e. forts built as part of the protection of the Czechoslovak border before World War II. To the east of the village, just 4 km away, is the Boubín hill with an altitude of 1,362 m above sea level, where there is also a lookout tower.
From Volary you can get to Kubova Hut via Lenora and Horní Vltavice. It is 18 km away and takes about 18 minutes by car. You can also go there by train, from Volary you will be there in about 40 minutes.
